Well we have had the night, and what an amazing night it was too!! It was absolutely and utterly FAN BLOOMING TASTIC!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and left on an absolute high. We don’t have a final total as yet because we still have money coming in following the event!
We had 13 local heroes and our demo couple Lianne and Paul Tilbury. The night saw steppers danicng a jive to the Time Warp, two sequences dances of a square tango and a Rhumba 1. Then our two set dances of a quick step and ChaCha. We had four finalists, in first place was Hayley and Paul B Woooooo Hooooo! Second Lorna and Paul O Woooo Hoooo! Third was George and Janet Wooooo Hoooo! Fourth was Fin and Emily Woooo Hoooo! We had showcases from Steph and Troy, as well as Lewis and Ruth, which was Lewis’ Mum (Glenda’s) first time see’ing Lewis and Ruth dance together, and amazing they looked too. Judges were Andrzej, Viv, Sam (former Strictly Towcester local hero), Lewis and Ruth. The night was compared amazingly by Aaron Williams. Tech, well what can I say, other than Andrew gave me sparkles!! Bryan was our music man for the night too! As always our wonderful Martin was taking photo’s of the night!
But a special thankyou goes to Jayne. This was her first Strictly having taken over from Viv when she retired, and we all agree she has made an absolutely amazing job of it! Here’s to next year, date 28th October 2023!!
