Well it’s that time again when we are planning our amazing Spring Fayre.  This year will be with a difference as it will be held in the function room of The Pickled Pig Pub in Towcester.

We first met Allen, who owns the pub when he agreed to take part in Strictly Towcester, with his amazing staff member Nikki.  Little did any of us realise that this would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Allen let us use the function room to practice practice and practice, especially as my partner, Stuart, who is also Nikki’s other half, only had 2 weeks to learn his 3 dances!!

When Strictly had finished Allen said we could use the room for anything we would like to help raise funds for us as he would like to continue supporting us in any way he can.  I was chatting with Nikki one day, whilst in the pub, and it was her suggestion we hold our Spring Fayre upstairs.  So I then brought Steve over and we measured the room for stalls as it met his seal of approval!

The room will comfortably hold 27 stalls, so we have got about booking them in!  We have an amazing 23 so far, so have room for a few more but not many, the response has been amazing!

We have decided on the day to have an Easter Egg hunt, which the children (young or old) will need to ask Olaf for their little voucher, and then they have to find the stall which will hold their gift!

There is also a bar in the pub, so there is something for everyone young and old!

We are also on the look out for any unwanted Christmas, Birthday, Easter presents or anything you may have in your drawer which you no longer need!
